Mother Nature Seems Upset!
Author: Ernie FitzpatrickIf there is anything that scientists can agree on, it's not global warming, but that the frequency and intensity of earthquakes are on the rise. And, it was colder this week in Port Huron than it has been in more than seven decades as well as record lows in many Southern states. And Typhoon Parma is headed for Manila.
So far this week, at least 150 people are confirmed killed in Samoa from an earthquake and tsunami, 230 are dead from the tsunami in Indonesia and now maybe 1,000,000 are at peril over Parma? It seems as though Mother Nature is somewhat upset, but then maybe she has a good reason. It seems that the ground underneath our feet is not quite so stable and that may be an understatement.
Hopefully we can keep the Yellowstone Super volcano quiet!
Can the weakening magnetic field be past of the problem? Will continuing weakness bring more turmoil? There has to be increased pressure within the earth in order to have increased earthquake activity. The latest count that I've seen regarding "active" volcanoes is just over 1,500. But, that doesn't mean that they will erupt before December 21, 2012.
However, the number of volcanic eruptions have increased close to 40% in the last century.
What's known as the "Pacific Ring Of Fire" is the most active arena for both earthquakes and volcanoes. There are some 450+ volcanoes in this area or about 75% of what's known as the active volcanoes. So, I beg the question once more. Is Mother Earth unhappy with what we're going to her? Is Gaia getting ready to blow a gasket? Is Father Sun-Sky playing a role here? Or, are we just simply seeing a time and a season wherein the prophecies from many indigenous societies are coming into the rear view mirror?
We'll know soon enough!
